2/ Section 230 doesn't create a "regulation-free zone," as Bonta disingenuously claims. It creates a unified body of (federal) law for the Internet. Offline distributors being subject to different law is the point! Congress decided the Internet is different and treated it so. In other words,
Well wait, I don’t think 230 prevents regulation of *any* online content, or even of state regulation of any online content. State regulation of content enforced against the original information content provider is unaffected (assuming it’s otherwise lawful/constitutional to regulate).
