For nearly a century, the corner of Fifth and Central welcomed generations of families. What began as the Coney Island Café in 1929 became Lindy's in 1960. My 07/03/26 postcard captures the excavator bringing down a building that had quietly witnessed almost a hundred years of Albuquerque history.
