I imagine Judge Currie gnashing her teeth at this framing in the NY Times. She ruled with utter clarity that Lindsey Halligan was unlawfully appointed as US Attorney and “has been unlawfully serving in that role since September 22, 2025.”

How the fuck would you "remove" someone from an office that they don't occupy? Somebody should just file a quo warranto action, along with a motion for summary judgment, and attach that opinion as the only evidence necessary.

It literally says she should not be in that position since she was illegally installed. Illegally installed means she doesn’t have the job. They’re grasping at straws. Mondays gonna be fun

She ruled that "all actions flowing from Ms. Halligan's defective appointment” are invalid. There's nothing else to say. Lindsey Halligan is not now and never was US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.
