Sorry if I made it seem that I'm completely defending them. You're right in saying that the announcement is quite tone-deaf, and they could've responded much better to the situation. But keep in mind that everything went down just moments before an event was about to start, while everyone was already stressed and didn't even have time to process everything. It's not as black-and-white as it seems. The entire shelter project shouldn't go down because of something that happened completely outside of it. And Greymage seems to feel the same way based on what they said in their own post. Everyone is still processing this. Please don't attack each other. I only wish all the best for Greymage, lending a helping hand however I can, and commend their bravery for coming forward with such a personal and serious statement.
