Stonehenge Memorial in Maryhill, WA, 3-19-23. Very cool to visit this site while on vacation. A full-scale, astronomically aligned concrete replica of the original English monument. Commissioned by Samuel Hill and dedicated in 1918 (completed 1929), it was the first WWI memorial in the U.S. to honor fallen soldiers from Klickitat County. The site is free and open daily near the Columbia River.
