Symbolic of her being adrift in the universe looking at the past fire that haunts and taunts her. Isolated from real connection. Cos every time she reaches for what she wants she is burned by it…
Osha and Jecki in the Khofar forest in episode 4: Day. The girls managed to form a bond amongst themselves not just by both being Sol’s padawans. Being similar and thrust into an order where true warmth is prohibited it is no wonder they would mesh well. Osha is a naturally self determined, empathetic, charismatic person who longs to connect with others, but is repressed by trauma and the Jedi rules. Jecki is someone who has expression, emotionality and exuberance encoded into her DNA, but is trained into repression by the Jedi. Matchy Matchy🤝
There is sooooooo much about this show that has amazed and inspired me and made my jaw drop and brain pop. Stunningly original to have a Star Wars corruption arc centred on a woman AND told from her perspective AND HAVING IT LEAD TO SELF ACTUALISATION AND ASCENSION.🤩⭐️🌟💫🔥🔥🔥

This is now a bit of a Sol appreciation post as I fully slander his emotional and relationship skills in the previous post. But honour his combat expertise fully! Having never come across a darkside user before he locked in adapter and handled unhinged Qimir like a boss. He even managed to deal with a possessed Wookie in his youth!😍
Osha LITERALLY getting inside Qimir’s head by wearing his mask. A symbol of her trust in him and desire to access the force again as the Jedi way / lightside is lost to her. I love the ways she stares and caresses his mask before putting it on. The reverence and foreplay allusions😍🥵❤️‍🔥🍆
Regal, gorgeous, a true leader and mother. I love that Leslye based her on elements of the heroine from the Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler. Also hinting she may have come from one of the Nightsister cults and gone solo. Phenomenal character!😍🤩🙌🏾💖💕💖💕

‘Day’ into ‘Night’ was a masterstroke! You got to see the various landscapes of Khofar and then the forest by day before The Stranger rained terror down on them. Another gorgeous shot of that misty dusty atmosphere👀🤩
