Drawings of 2 slugs rendered in pencil. Adequate but not true mastery yet. The artist was focused shapes and rendering. Passable to some, but not your keen eyes. Needs work in your honest opinion.

Sketch of a bat, not well done in the artist's opinion. The depiction makes the bat look sad and a bit like a pig. He was too focused on the rendering and not the whole picture. He should have focused on the size and shape and the relation to each size and shape to each other. Many artist will hate him and ridicule him for such display of poor art. For it is known that artist are hateful and resentful of each other, unforgiving in fact. He must make make it up to them or die by the hands of another artist in a sword duel as it is usually done.
