Seeking Salvation comic page 49 (chapter 2, page 26). Ian adjusts his paper crown, establishing his dominance, and challenges Rick and Tony to win it off of him. After brief consideration Rick agrees to play but not compete, while Tony comes for the king. Finally, the party reconvenes as Alex, Rick, Ian, Tony, and Jason return to gaming. Tony knocks Ian in the arm as Ian playfully sticks out his tongue in response. Rick laughs with a toothy smile while Alex and Jason focus on the game at hand. Harmony has returned to game night.

Seeking Salvation comic page 49 (chapter 2, page 26). Ian, wearing the paper crown, enters the kitchen, noticing the beers Tony brought. Rick offers Ian his unfinished drink and he accepts, then offering one to their friends Alex and Jason. Rick clings to Ian telling him no because they're underaged. Jason interrupts saying he prefers hard lemonade and would rather have a rematch. Alex claims to be a fan of the guava before noticing Rick's look and correcting herself to Che Guevara. The party guests look skeptically while Tony glares smugly at Rick, who says "I dunno who that is."

Seeking Salvation comic page 48 (chapter 2, page 25). Tony asks to make it up to Rick by taking him to a nearby bar with good drinks, wings, board games, and promises to find him a drink he'll love. Rick gives a tepid maybe and Tony is disappointed. Rick takes some more time to think and then offers Tony his phone, telling Tony to give him his number. "Y'know, 'forgiveness' and 'grace' and all that." Then Ian pops up loosely wearing the gaming crown surprised that Rick is getting digits.

He further clarifies he's been curious but you don't try every thing that you're curious about. He stresses he is *very interested* in having sex but is saving his virginity for his wife. Tony then levels with Rick about their shared church upbringing and apologizes a third time. Rick sneers, takes a deep breath, then says "Okay."

Seeking Salvation comic page 46 (chapter 2, page 23). Tony throws his hands down, exclaiming his surprise at Ian's sexuality. He apologizes to Rick for his reaction, clears up a misconception about sharing drinks (nurse parents raised him not to do that), and Tony tries to bridge the gap with his old gay friends, to which Rick snidely asks: "Were you disgusted by them too?"

Seeking Salvation page 45 (chapter 2, page 22). Rick talks about not finding a church that jives with gays, remembers his and Ian's experiences with homophobia, and questions the supposed Christian ire specifically for homosexuality. Despite this, Rick still finds himself calling on God and Jesus. Tony defends Rick's faith, but Rick questions Tony about his own actions against his friend Ian. Tony proceeds to anger Rick by starting to say: "Yeah, but you're, like, norm--"

Rick ribs him for taking the Lord's name in vain and swearing. Tony philosophizes about how he believes God cares more about intentions than actions and asks Rick if he's Christian. Rick gives a tepid yes but admits to avoiding church. Tony then explains how churches sometimes drive people away and that it may be time to seek another place of worship, describing how he's looked for other churches.

Rick doesn't want to waste the drink if he doesn't like it, but Tony insists and Rick tries the Mango Stand. Tony makes a bad joke and Rick flips a light switch, preparing to start the card game he invited Tony over for.
