A comic page called "THE REAL QUESTION". Mr. Myxzptlk asks "an interesting question" about whether he is more real than you, the reader; he is known by more people, despite being fictional. He exists in the mind, not in reality. But he can be longer-lived despite not existing when you stop thinking about him.

Amber and Oscar standing off. Drawn on paper by myself; the character designs derive from this. Amber was drawn a year and a half or so before Oscar and has browner skin than other pictures of her have.
Clown-costumed gray squirrel in garb of orange and yellow, with pink twisted tutu of sorts and a similar more-than-mobius-twist band of sorts around the unsleeved elbows and capping off the o-and-y-striped pants at the knees. The other accent color of sorts is blue; blue on bows of the (red) hair and her tail, the whole of the gloves, part of the shoe design, and in the center of a very wide pink bowtie. Her face is white, with red (painted?) eyebrows, yellow eyes, yellow makeup on her lower eyelid with black on her upper lid, yellow triangles on her cheeks, and a tiny red nose above a grinning smile with a red lower lip.
