On both sides of the gate the ring wall of Angkor Thom continues into the trees and forest with a deep green colour of the foliage. The gate itself is very clean and newly maintained, and the red laterite stone is very visible red and warm yellow in the raising sun. The sky is mostly cobalt blue with lightly traces of clouds. The sea is deep indigo blue. The tree has the warm colours of a late afternoon setting sun.
