Apologies. Currently fighting significant lymphatic condition. May not say ‘thanks’ as much as I should ☹️. Hope to be riding roads & trails of Wensleydale again. Depleting my wine collection. 😍 hills, mountains, some stargazing & tending my flowerbed.

An empty bottle of exquisite Bannockburn 2015 Cab/Shiraz stands with its remaining contents in a decanter & glass. Utterly dry, intense blackcurrant/minerals & fine leather. Long, satisfying finish

Now that UK children have been infected with the curse of ‘Trick or treat’, it’s only right that both sides can chose to trick. Combined with the programmable front door light which can be set to turn blood red when approached, some were indeed startled. I demanded sweets & they obliged. Sadly they seemed to come back again 10 minutes later 🤨 This year I’m escalating to ‘Grim Reaper’ c/w black robes & scythe. ☠️
