Kek Lapis Sarawak: Literally translates to layered cake. The cakes are layered with different flavours. While this is technically a category of cakes, the cakes often have a buttery texture. It's most popular in the state of Sarawak, more specifically in it's capital Kuching.
Nasi Kerabu Daging Bakar. Rice flavoured and coloured with pea flowers to give it's floral blue colour, covered in a light sweet sambal, served assortment of herbs like coriander and torch ginger, dried coconut flakes, salted egg yolk, fish crackers, and grilled meat with a soy based sweet marinade.
