The Amazing Transgender Circus l knew Jax was trans because my entire bluesky feed had spoiled that for me at this point. And like… yeah. She’s fucking trans. She’s also really fucked up. Given how many trans people I know and have known, I can’t help but feel the reality in that. None of us get where we’re going without some deep trauma, and hurt people hurt people. There’s a balance I’m personally still trying to find between: - being traumatized does not excuse the decisions people make or absolve them of their responsibility for the harm they inflict - people whose psychological responses to their trauma are hurtful and cruel are still deserving of kindness and empathy - the people that they hurt do not owe them forgiveness and there comes a point where continuing to extend that grace becomes enabling of the harmful behavior

An elf has been added, sitting on the stairs just above the one wielding a rapier. She's wearing high-heeled shoes and overalls, and is tossing a potion nonchalantly over her shoulder towards a horrible owl-monster with proportions like a cricket.

A creature of some sort has been added. It has an indescribably misshapen body, with the head of a barn owl at the end of a long lumpy neck. It flies on two very small insect wings, and in its talons is a large trident.
An elf has been added on the stairs. She wears a striped turtleneck sweater, and she wields a rapier in her left hand while holding a bubbling potion bottle in her right. She has a focused, slightly worried expression.
Another Terrible Owl has been added behind the one that had gotten hit with a potion bottle. The new owl has several bits of its body disintegrating, as it flees from the Potion Elves in terror. It has a slug tail instead of legs. On the ground beside it is another broken potion bottle.
Two owls (?) have been added to The Scene, attacking the knight with the big shield. One is airborne, with most of the body upside down but the wings upright. A head with eyes sewn shut dangles limply below it, while talons holding eyeballs sprout from the top, looking forward. The second "owl" is large and quadrupedal, front limbs like talons (one of which is swiping ineffectually at the knight's shield), and the back limbs like wings, but being used like a seal's flippers.
An elvish knight has been added. She has a large shield, defending the other elves present. In her other hand she holds a spear, held at ready to stab over the top of the shield.
Two new combatants in the fight. The first is an androgynous elf in a white robe, taking a potion from Cool Glasses Lady with one hand while throwing a potion with the other. The thrown potion is hitting the other new combatant in the face. This creature is some sort of owl-adjacent being with a jagged beak. Instead of wings, this owl has talon-like hands. On its face is an expression that says, "oh god that hurts, why would you do that?!"
An elf of some kind, wearing pointy glasses, has been added to the right of the character from yesterday. She is carrying various potions in her arms, and looks over her shoulder at yesterday's clumsy character with an expression of disapproval and judgement.
A February Room has been added above the January Room, with a color palette reminiscent of Valentine's Day. Two new combatants have been added. Details in the other images.
Two new figures have been added behind the Skull-headed Giant. On the ground is an orc in a revealing goth outfit. She carries a spiked shield and a large hammer. Her hair is pulled into short twin pigtails. Floating above her is a pale woman with a green side-mullet. She has purple energy emanating from her feet and hands.
Another adventurer has been added at the feet of the skull-headed giant. She has simple clothing, a freckled face, and hair cut in mullet. She's skewering the creature in the leg with a large spear.
A valiant little fella has been added, clinging to the back of the skull-headed giant. They are holding a morningstar aloft, as if about to bring it mightily down on the shoulder of their foe.
A human has been added, held upside-down in the skull-headed giant's fist. Their mouth is open in fear, and they are dropping a dagger from one hand.
A two-story-tall creature has been added. Its head is a horned skull with flaming eyes, and its feet that of a clawed beast. In its left hand is a large green gemstone swirling with energy.
Another bat-winged dragonfly has been added in an empty space just below the one that was shot with an arrow.
Another snake with a human head has been added. It's coiled around the ladder behind the gun-frog. In its tail is held a curved bladed weapon, about to strike the gun-frog.
A bald, muscular woman dressed like a street fighter character has been added to the scene. She is in a fighting stance, looking resolutely at something just off screen.
A pink creature has been added, falling off of the upper ledge beside the goblin witch. It has hooved feet and a long tail, and is clearly dead on account of its head being exploded and its body being covered with lightning.
A goblin witch has been added, leaping off of a ledge dramatically. She wears the classic witch hat and robe, along with some platform combat boots. She has lightning emanating from her hands.
Above the gun frog, a dragonfly-like creature with bat wings has been added. It's been pierced by one of the archer's arrows midair. A purple splash spews from the wound.
Two new "combatants" have been added, and the battlefield has been expanded to include a ladder on the upper floor leading upwards into nowhere. A bard sits on the ground against a wall, wincing in pain while healing a knee injury with magic. They have a lute in their hand with one snapped string. Beside them, a dead goblin is collapsed on the ground in an undignified position. His eyes ere X-ed out, and there is a cartoonish lump on his head. He is wearing suspenders
Hanging down from the ledge, above the mage, is a goblinoid sort of creature, dressed respectably in a striped sweatervest. He has one finger raised gingerly, as if he has a point to make but is shy about it.
A large crow with a skeletonized head has been added. It's holding a lantern overflowing with clearly magical flame; the same flame that burns in the bird's eyes. It's unclear what the bird or lantern are accomplishing.
A large frog has been added. Its mouth is wide open, and a long prehensile tongue extrudes from the gaping maw. Somehow, a revolver is held in the tongue, pointed at the kobold from yesterday. The frog seems to be having a chill and fun time doing this.
A purple kobold-adjacent creature has been added, back-to-back with the head-man, with hands similarly raised in surrender. They are surprisingly well dressed, in a button-down shirt. Their expression is one of anxiety, directed towards something that does not exist yet.
Two new monsters have been added. The first is a creature shaped like a giant human head, with arms and legs attached to it. He has horrible unkempt facial hair. He is being held at arrowpoint by the archer, and has his arms up in surrender. The second creature is rat-like, but with six limbs and a tail with a scorpion-esque stinger. It is peppered with arrows, dead.
An archer has been added to the top of the stairs, having just kicked the turtle person. She is drawing a bow, pointing it at something that doesn't exist yet. Her hair is cut in a bob. She is smiling smugly, as if she knows she is going to win.
A turtle-person has been added, falling backwards down the stairs and bonking the imp creature on the head. This unfortunate creature has the head and bare legs of a man, but the shell and front flippers of a sea turtle. He seems distressed and a bit apologetic about the collision.
Stairs have been added behind the ongoing battle. An impish creature with horns and a tail is falling down those stairs, apparently dead by some currently-unknown means.
A flying skull with fleshy wings has been added in front of the mage. It has a mustache and a beard, and a spiraling tendril of hair atop its head. It also has a third eye in its forehead, which is still less upsetting than the mustache.
A grumpy, flat, reptilian creature with a single tooth at the end of a long snout is crouched at the feet of the knight. Green flames are angrily flowing out of its back towards the knight, though to little effect.
A purple goblin fella has been added. It has just been chopped in half by the knight midair, and the two halves are still falling to the ground.

A elvish knight has been added on the other side of the mage. She's wearing heavy armor, and gayly holding her mage's free hand, pink hair swirling with motion. She's slashing a sword upward on the side opposite the cavalcade of monsters. Her expression is one of concern and urgency.
Below the leaping beak-gremlin dude, a third creature has been added. It's a snake with the head of a guy, who is grinning gleefully while locking eyes with the mage. He's holding a double-headed axe in his tail, which is probably fine.
A beaky little gremlin creature wearing overalls has been added to the previous drawing. It's leaping into the air, about to plunge at the mage with a spear.
