A 44-year old man .... complained of a sudden visual loss to 20/400. ... He remembered having observed the sun during an astronomical session, looking for solar winds. The main astronomical telescope was protected by a specific filter, but the aiming side-telescope was incidentally not protected by any filter.

This study documents the findings in a case of solar retinopathy, 6 days after sungazing. A malignant melanoma of the choroid was diagnosed in a 65-year-old man. On fundoscopy, the macula was normal. The patient agreed to stare at the sun prior to enucleation. A typical solar retinopathy developed, characterised by a small, reddish, sharply circumscribed depression in the foveal area

This is a screenshot of a webpage from NASA on the Earth's changing magnetic field. In a section on why it's not responsible for climate change, one of the reasons is that air is not ferrous. It makes a joke, a pun, "air isn't ferrous. Ferrous? Say what? Bueller? Bueller?", make a play of a famous line from the classic movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". Cuz ferrous sounds like ferris.
