Two brown glazed jugs besides each other. They look very similar but the right one has a pewter lid. The jugs have a chunky body that actually looks like a body of a man wearing 16th century attire with a little cape and a smock shirt appearing from under his slashed upper garment. He's got arms closely pressed against his body and he's holding a glass and a jug. He's got a small face with a full beard, mustache and curls.

There are also objects with fine relief decorations such as bearded faces on the necks of some jugs.

In this video you first get to see a baroque painting of a woman who's using a sword to cut a man's head off his body. He's looking pretty distressed. Then there's a sequence of video shots where you see me using a mould to decorate a cilindrical jug. A couple of historical pieces are shown, like a similar jug with a relief decoration of a woman holding a sword and a head and with a headless body lying at her feet and a mould with yet another depiction of judith. When I'm finished using the mould you can see the end result: a cream colored cilindrical jug with a handle and the relief decoration of Judith, depicted from her head to her feet holding a sword and Holofernes' head. Under her feet you can see her name spelled I u d i t.

There are cups, big round pots with handles and small feet, jugs with faces on the neck, a marbled flask, a bell shaped thing with a handle on top (that's the fire cover), a stag shaped pot, jugs with perforated necks, yellow dishes with naïve white slibdrawings of a dragon and a swan, small stamps lying around and a cup shaped like a hedgehog. The camera moves to the kiln which has a cilinder shape and which looks like all those pots will never fit inside.
