The hot tub is wonderful. Like most of the non-lethal parts of the Crystal Tower, it’s a grandiose affair of blue crystal and golden metal, far grander and lavish than needed for its expressed purpose. It takes but a moment to get the water to warm itself to a comfortable temperature, and the pumps and fountain to stream as if millennia had not passed since their last activation. You could say many things about the Allagans, but they built things to last the end of the world. It takes far, far longer to convince myself to take off my clothes. It does not help that Caranraw at my side is shrugging them off almost casually, leaving nothing on but a red and black subligar decorated with a Hingan motif. “Come on, G’raha!” he grins at me, “I’ve got a back to scrub. You can either take your clothes off or-” For a moment I fear he intends to rip them off of me himself. Or is it desire? “-I’m just going to have to throw you in the tub as you are.” Oh.
