Free Planet began as a simple idea--"scifi GI Joe defending space Venezuela"--with a resource-rich but financially poor planet struggling to maintain its independence. It begins with the abduction of one of the planet's leaders. 2026 is already proving it more prescient than I would have hoped.

Won't lie it makes me feel a lot more confident about the possibilities of what you can still do in western comics seeing something that strident succeed. Sucks the world is so evil it's prescient though
