So, I've seen Curry Barker's comedy & horror bits. I enjoyed the comedy ones, but not his short horror films. I did not like 'Milk & Serial'. However...'Obsession' is worthy of the hype & praise. For me, THIS horror movie was successful at that careful way of balancing both horror & comedy. It is brutal. I did chuckle. But mostly my husband & I said 'ohnononononono' A LOT. The message about losing autonomy is pretty obvious & executed well. Unfortunately, some men thought this was another 'cRaZy gIrLfrIeNd' movie. It is not. At all. Please watch this. But again, it is brutal, there is violence & gore & you WILL wince- but it's worth it. I hope Curry continues with horror because now I see he definitely has potential. It's available on Peacock or for rental on Amazon.

Our Pembroke Welsh Corgi Luna wearing a bandana with the non-binary flag colors on it. 'Non-binary' is an umbrella term for people who do not identify as strictly male or female genders. For some people, they are multiple genders, some no genders at all, or like myself their gender is fluid and not fixed. I know pronouns are a touchy subject, but please do your best to respect them. Especially if it's an important thing to the non-binary individual.

We bought some fresh fruit this weekend: pineapple, blueberries & strawberries. I drizzled some honey on top.
Some Hawkweed that grows around the perimeter of our yard. They are considered an invasive weed, but they are still pretty with their cheerful yellow flowers.
