Written text: I was at a summer camp for kids and they woke up the kids in the middle of the night to take them to the forest and tell spooky stories, where one of the counselors was hiding and scared them all to run back. I wanted to go but fell back asleep instead of getting up out of bed. When the kids all got back screaming and running a few of them told me what happened, but they all had wildly different stories of what happened. It was a ghost, an animal, a woman, a demon, a horse.. I learned that even if someone witnessed something firsthand, their brain will make stuff up to fill in the blanks without them even realizing they are "lying"

Alex Chilton, the former lead singer of Big Star, recalled receiving middle-of-the-night phone calls from Wilson asking him to sing on a recording of "Shortenin' Bread"' ("He was telling me I have the perfect voice for it").[31] The Monkees' Micky Dolenz said that when he tripped on LSD with Wilson, John Lennon, and Harry Nilsson, Wilson played "Shortenin' Bread" on piano "over and over again".[29] Biographer Peter Ames Carlin wrote that Elton John and Iggy Pop were bemused by an extended Wilson-led singalong of "Shortenin' Bread", leading Pop to flee the room proclaiming, "I gotta get out of here, man. This guy is nuts!"[32] Musician Alice Cooper recalled that Wilson considered "Shortenin' Bread" to be the greatest song ever written. According to Cooper, when he asked why, Wilson responded "I don't know, it's just the best song ever written."[33]

The Beast of Ealingchester In 1926, a leviathan terrorized the New England fishing village of Ealingchester. Unable to defend against the monster, the townsfolk instead opted to knit the beast a sweater. Its mysterious death fifty feet from shore had since been attributed to the creature’s inability to swim in a dense cable knit.

From David Lynch’s Twitter account: Ladies and Gentlemen, Yes, I have emphysema from my many years of smoking. I have to say that I enjoyed smoking very much, and I do love tobacco - the smell of it, lighting cigarettes on fire, smoking them - but there is a price to pay for this enjoyment, and the price for me is emphysema. I have now quit smoking for over two years. Recently I had many tests and the good news is that I am in excellent shape except for emphysema. I am filled with happiness, and I will never retire.
