Stratus likes to hang out between Aaron's toes. When the avali goes to sleep, Stratus gets a great view of the huge grey landscape of Aaron's body, since Aaron's paw-feet stick up when laying back. During this slumber, Stratus is free to walk around on Aaron's body, navigating himself to other body parts without having to spend so much effort climbing. Aaron is a gray and green avali, who has 4 ears, 3 fingers, 3 toes, winged arms, and is covered in feathers. This image shows Aaron laying down in his bed, on his back, above the covers. The view is beyond Aaron's foot-paws, looking at their undersides. Aaron is 95cm tall, about 500 times as tall as Stratus, or about 125 million times the mass and volume. Stratus stands between Aaron's toes, the gap between the toes dwarfing his nano-sized body, with the toes themselves many dozens of times his height. The details of Stratus's body are so small that they are barely visible, but he is a nano australian shepherd, a dog, with white, black, and orange fur, and blue eyes.
Stratus sat on Aaron's shoulder, looking around. This view was a lot more special to him than it was to Aaron. For the big avali, the train platform was pretty mundane. But for Stratus, it was a rare experience to be out here. He rarely rode on trains, since it depended on him riding on a big person, at a time when they were heading somewhere by train... which, believe it or not, a lot of people don't do. Stratus sat there on Aaron's shoulder, and watched the train roll into the station. He immediately recognized the familiar model, UTDC ICTS Mark I. Stratus loved trains, though it was hard to explain exactly why. Now, he actually got to see the train in person... and he was going to see the inside of it too! He wagged his microscopic tail in excitement. Stratus looked around while Aaron boarded the train, from his vantage point on the shoulder. He looked around as they moved through the train door, into the train car. Stratus began to get giddy. Here he was, sitting on a big person's shoulder, riding a train through the city. It was fun to have rare occasions like this where he could actually ride one, instead of just watching them go by, or learning about them. "I love trains! Yay, I'm riding a train! WOOHOO!" he excitedly shouted at the top of his lungs, flailing his tiny arms around. Aaron's lower right ear twitched. Did he just hear something? It sounded a bit like an ultra-quiet high-pitched voice, speaking some words he couldn't make out, ending in "woohoo". He listened, rotating his head and ears a bit, to try and pick up on the sound again. Hmm... no, he must be imagining it. Stratus noticed the big ear twitch behind him. Oh, right, he should probably quiet down if he wanted to remain undetected. Generally he was tiny enough that he could be loud without being heard, but in this case, he was sitting centimeters away from Aaron's ear. Dang, these ears weren't just for show, it seems that avalis having good hearing was no joke.
Aaron has been brought to life by corbledorf, animated in an adventure-ready standing pose. Aaron is a male avali, with gray feathers, winged arms, 3 fingers, 3 toes, 4 ears, green eyes with a dark gray sclera, a tail, and wearing nothing but a brown bag. He highly animated, bobbing up and down, with his legs bending a bit, his arms and tail swinging around a bit, his eyes darting around. He looks ready to be selected in a character roster menu. Don't expect him to have a very high strength stat or anything... but if you need a small software engineer, he's your bird! Slung over the shoulder is my bag, which is something I actually own IRL. It's fully custom, sewn by my dad on a heavy-duty sewing machine. It's big enough to hold my MacBook Pro horizontally, completely enclosing it, or it can hold a larger laptop sticking out a little bit, plus it can hold many other things at the same time.

Aaron, a gray and green avali, is in his alternate form as an avali taur. He just finished eating a big meal, and now he is laying on his back, sleeping. Look at his chest rise and fall as he breathes. His upper body contains his only set of lungs. Unlike anthro creatures, the lungs completely fill his upper body (see https://www.furaffinity.net/view/61244498/ ). Meanwhile, his lower body contains the heart, stomach, and most other organs. Up on top of the belly, his big stomach grumbles from time to time as it processes the food. His big taur hands are right there to comfort the big belly, occasionally rubbing, patting, and scratching it.

Arr, mateys! Time to set sail on the high seas! And what a formidable crew we have! An avali quartermaster takes notes, diligently keeping track of the crew. On his shoulder what seems at first like a pet parrot is in fact the captain of the ship! It's always good to have your quartermaster's ears close, especially when your orders to the crew come out as tiny squeaks and can't be heard from far away. The small rosy maple moth needs a proper command post from which to direct his crew, and what better than one that can walk around and echo your orders? Out on the deck, a blue fish attempts to sweep the deck, not familiar with the landlubber concept of "brooms". Another blue creature, a glaceon, attempts to wrangle some cannonballs. However, some of them are rolling loose, so that small green moth better watch out before he gets rolled over by what feels like the boulder from Indiana Jones! Meanwhile, a protogen inspects the cannons, he is an expert in exploding but has never used a cannon before (note: he's an expert in exploding, not an expert in explosives). On the side of the deck a crystal dragon attempts to deal with the ship's rigging, but ends up getting caught in the ropes. Luckily on her shoulder, a small purple moth is doing her best to assist, since she is an expert on ropes and rigging. They had better watch out, since behind them is a giant kraken! Or rather, a macro deer. Fortunately he seems friendly, as he is receptive to a prismey waving to greet him, the crystalline creature doing his best to parler with the cervine force of nature just off the port side of the ship. On second thought, maybe this crew is not as formidable as first thought. The captain and quartermaster have some work to do...
