Avery is sitting at her computer desk, writing in a notebook while Alice, a dainty tabby cat, is sitting directly in front of the camera, staring intently. Alice stares at screens because Avery has played so many bird and mice videos for cats on YouTube for her so now she expects them. Alice’s stare looks very menacing and you get the idea she actually hates humans and tolerates them for food and warmth.

There are small side tables and one table in the center in front of them and the tables have copies of Alchemised and fake candles. There is a white rectangular rug beneath them on the floor. Avendell is an artist who originally created art for Manacled. When you would read Manacled on AO3, many of the chapters (or all? Can’t remember) included a piece by Avendell. I love seeing women lift other women up in their success, and god knows they both deserve all of it.

I’m holding the bottom of a paper rectangle plate/dish which contains: Meatlug’s Chicken Bowl ($16.99). Ancient grains (replaced with sticky rice to make it gluten free), harissa spice chicken, oven-roasted Brussels, bell pepper harissa, smoked cheddar, paprika dressing.
