The rockstar, whose surname is Wyld or Wild (because it always fucking is that way), fronts the band with Wyld/Wild in the name. The band is signed to a label called Wyld/Wild Records. The MMC is always drinking and fucking around, and has a horrible personality that even a mother couldn’t love – until he meets The One. He’s non-committal but then catches feelings. However, his manager, who usually is his dad, blackmails the FMC into leaving because having her around would “distract him from success and he needs to keep up appearances”, and leading the story into a miscommunication trope with the Act 3 Break-up. There is also a continuation where the rest of the band gets into relationships like a conveyor belt, and one of these ends up being drunkenly married in Vegas (usually a manager or PR FMC) and they have to navigate that while also secretly FWB-ing. All of the FMCs of the story end up having kids.

AITA for telling my mum I don’t care if her husband is dead? u/WhiteRubes59 I (20F) have been estranged from my mother for the past two years. When I was 10, my dad died, and she quickly remarried. This man is the worst kind of person. He mocked myself and my sister (22F), publicly humiliated us, and made her the Golden Child. I found my aunt, and skipped town to live with her when I was about to turn 18. Now, my mum called to say that her husband is missing, and guilt-tripping me about not knowing, even though he’d been missing for a few hours. I got angry, and I told her exactly how I felt about it, how he turned her into an alcoholic, and my sister was treated like a princess, and I had to move to escape. I then said that I hoped he winds up dead in a ditch. I know I may have gone too far but I didn’t want anything to do with them. So, AITA? And yes I will be changing my number.

The lightning attack had been intercepted, an earthy dome surrounding me. I touched the wall, feeling cool earth beneath my fingertips, with a hum of power coursing through it. I could hear muffled shouting, though I couldn’t make out anything that was being said, or who the new voice belonged to, as my ears started ringing. I leaned against the earth wall and let the darkness and pain consume me.

Amara turns towards me, anger plastered all over her face. ‘What the fuck do you think you’re playing at?’ ‘I don’t know what the fuck is going on.’ 'Amara, leave her alone,’ Charleen joins in on the anger, hers directed at the girl confronting me instead. ‘Shut up, Charleen. Now listen, tell us the fucking truth, Ruby.’ ‘I am.’ ‘Ruby is telling you the truth,’ Garrot speaks up, still a little shaken. ‘How would you know? You both in on this sick prank together?’ ‘I wish it was a prank, really. But turns out something happened to me as well.’ Garrot shows us his arm, where is blood is returning to his body, as if pulled by some magical force. The scars scab over quickly. Amara’s face pales as she realises her mistake.
