An IMDB “goofs” submission: When Dr. Robotnik is grilling his grandfather Gerald, Dr. Robotnik asks him what the "most elegant formula in mathematics" is, and Gerald replies that it is Euler's identity. However, Gerald mispronounces Euler's name as "yoo-ler," when anyone who considers Euler's identity to be that elegant would surely know that the correct pronunciation is "oy-ler". with the explanation: The formula in question is Euler’s Identity (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euler%27s_identity). The mathematician after which it is named is Leonhard Euler (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonhard_Euler). Please go to the Wikipedia page. You will see on the very first line: “Leonhard Euler (/ˈɔɪlər/ OY-lər;[b]” The correct way to pronounce Euler’s name is “oy-ler”. If you go to footnote “b” in the Wikipedia article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonhard_Euler#cite_note-7) you will see: “The pronunciation /ˈjuːlər/ YOO-lər is considered incorrect.[2][3][4][5]” with four different references. The pronunciation given by Gerald Robotnik is wrong. This is a legitimate goof on the part of the character.
