Thanks. Its a nightmare* not easier. I was approved for the Canada Disability Benefit but only until 01/26 because my DisabilityTax Credit had to be RENEWED! Many for the application to be completed at my short staffed clinic. DTC needs to be approved to receive Canada Disability Benefit. Go Avi.

@mark-carney.bsky.social this is a slap in the face to everyday Canadians who are suffering through an affordability crisis. Oil and gas does not need anymore govt handouts and the Norwegian wealth fund actually taxes big O&G to fund projects which is not what this Spring budget presents at all.

The Canadian Disability Benefit allows govts to keep ppl w disabilities in poverty. I supported @leahgazan.bsky.social guaranteed liveable income bc no Canadian can be discriminated against. You file your income tax return, CRA determines if you qualify. No politician can exclude #PWD. #UBI #cdnpoli

Here in Alberta, we disabled folks suffer the extra indignity of having that $200.00 clawed back, so we don't even get the crumbs that we're offered by the federal government.

Yes! Adding on, events like eviction impacting ppl w disabilities more, means I love you also talk about social housing again -we NEED it! BC every renter I know has been displaced. One family it was 5 times in 7 years from landlords use! We're the eviction capital, other provinces not much better
