An image with the following text that I wrote that was in response to yougov.chat poll asking questions about a banana taped to a wall selling for millions of dollars. In a way, art is like a language, you have to study it to understand it. Even people looking at a landscape/portrait need a level of understanding (education) in order to interpret whats being shown. There is an entire history of it. Sadly, people who don’t speak the language appear to not like what they see, but that’s good too. It’s a fantastic and important aspect of life, it always has been.
