Aidan Steele @awsteele.com · Apr 25 Oh yeah, I didn’t even think about that. If it’s something DERP-y then it’s probably not viable. If you’re building a GitHub Action that means you are running code on the runner - you could determine the Azure region from the metadata service like this?

I was (and remain) hopeful that that would be enough but some things I found online said it doesn't always work. It made me think maybe they're trying to block that. But apparently not.
