Aidan Steele @awsteele.com · Jun 4 In my case, the regular wall outlet in Australia is 240v so I charge it using the standard plug in my garage. It charges at 8km/h, which more than covers my usage. Next year I’ll move house and won’t be renting, so I might spend AU$1500 on the 11kw charger.

The fact that you both charge it from the regular plug gives me much more hope. I’m super low mileage so I put ~£20 of petrol in maybe even a month in my GTI so electric will just cost me money at current costs but we have no choice soon
