“Chief Henry has reached the decision to step forward as a formal complainant against the Mayor after becoming aware that the Mayor’s conduct has extended beyond isolated incidents and has included sexual harassment of subordinate City employees, including members of the Saint Paul Police Department,” the letter states. In choosing to name himself as the complainant, the letter read, “Chief Henry is not only seeking to address the wrongdoing but also create a measure of protection for his team, signaling that such conduct will not be tolerated.”

Endorsement I first met Ayana at an organizing unit convention and I thought even then that she would make a great leader in one of our local units. She is one of the most pragmatic and diplomatic DFLers I have ever met. While holding strong opinions, Ayana makes space for how conflict can bring us together and strengthen our common positions. LOCAL LEVEL Support Locally-Driven Solutions to Keep Minnesotans Safe and Stable Many municipalities are taking action to provide additional funding to local rental assistance programs and to enact policies, such as local pre-eviction notice extension ordinances. Knowing that the legislative session doesn’t begin until February 17, we are urging municipalities to use their available tools to help keep renters safe and stable in their homes.
