When I'm in 5K, I set the scaling to 250% otherwise everything gets so small. Another downside is multi-monitor alignment gets ruined, but you can mitigate that issue with this app called LittleBigMouse!

Legend, gonna give this a try in 30 mins and see how it goes.
Native 1440p is 125% though - it's just doubled!
