You do your core tagging in LR, the AI reads the disk, writes the heavy metadata, and LR syncs it back. RAWs remain untouched. I wrote a full review detailing my workflow (and a major Lightroom XMP trap to avoid). Read it here: backyardsilver.com/testing-anot...
