I really wish the concept of giving criticism was understood better because ive proven to myself that I CAN learn fast, it just has to be relayed in a way i can understand. Also doesnt help that "criticism" has become a scary word' and i get why. For some unknown reason, giving criticism online turned into "you did this and that wrong, fix it 🙂" when it goes much deeper than that. TELL ME WHAT I DO GOOD AT! TELL ME NEW THINGS THAT I SHOULD EXPERIMENT WITH! The negative connotation to criticism has made it harder for people to give any out because they dont want to sound rude. Sorta gives the opposite effect by justifying my lesser areas rather than saying how i can improve them to be better Extra note: Criticism doesnt always have to be said at the moment, if you need time to think and come back with better wording then thats also valid!
