dev activity being constant while user growth wobbles is actually the healthiest possible pattern. protocol stability before scale. most platforms do this backwards

The week that included atmosphereconf was the first time breaking 100 (non-bluesky) lexicon groups with >10 active users in a week! There are a lot of atmosphere apps and people *are using them*. data: UFOs. (I'll get an interactive version of these charts on the site eventually)

I feel like the Fediverse and Atmosphere need to somehow work together to bring some level of cross communication between the networks.

The issue being user growth is meaningless without user activity. And that's what the charts highlighted. A decrease in both posts and likes. People make an account, look around for a few days, and leave never to return. That's not really growth.
