Bright misty morning over the Cree valley. The fields are dew covered and green, the tide in the estuary is out. You can't see Cairnsmore.

Leafy crop growing in the field next door, the valley is grassy. The sky is overcast with clouds all the way down. The distant hills are nowhere to be seen.

Blues skies over the Cree valley this morning. The green growth in the field next door is leafy and the plants in the rockery are unkempt and dew covered.

Sunshine briefly breaks through the clouds in the Cree valley. In the foreground is the green roof of my neighbors sheds. The estuary is near the top of the tide and beyond you can see the fields and buildings of the other farmer. There may even be rain falling on the uplands beyond.

Cairnsmore under a cap of cloud this morning, the fields in the valley have been mowed and are light green. I have no idea what's growing in the field next to me but it's leafy.

Rain clouds obscure the hills this morning. They've been cutting the grass fields and you can just make out the lighter shades of green between the hedges. Something leafy grows in the field in the immediate foreground.

The sun poised above Cairnsmore lights up the Cree valley. Cirrocumulus clouds partially obscure the blue sky with distant haze. The field next door is a bit scratchy but definitely more green than yellow now.some nettles are visible tucked up against the wall in the foreground and just a touch of some purple flowers in the rockery at the bottom left.

I should really try and learn more words for clouds beyond puffy, however there are puffy clouds with patches of blue, hazy distant hills, a field turning rapidly now from yellow to green and various hedges in the valley.

Rain and mist in the Cree Valley, there isn't much view though you can see the estuary and the lush fields of grass on the flood plane. There are clear swathes of green on the yellow field now.

My rockery including grass is lowly invading the paving stones. Cairnsmore in the background, a decaying bird table features. You can see my neighbors sheds and an oil tank for their heating over the wall. There are Welsh poppies and chives and various other blue and yellow flowers.

Sunshine and hazy blue skies over the Cree valley this morning. The fields on the flood plane are luscious green and even the yellow field closest to the camera is showing green shoots in patches.

Chives, Welsh poppies and other plants thriving in the gaps between slabs in my back garden. To the left is an actual rockery. Behind is the wall between me and the neighbors.

Over the bin lorry and the full sized skip and before you get to the two mighty pylons on the hill there is a brief glimpse of some fields, a farm and an old hall. The sky is cloudy.

Cloud moves eastward across the Galloway hills. Above them a big patch of blue and above that different more puffy clouds. The yellow field in the foreground shows signs of yesterday's Motorsport with a few muddy tracks. The fields in the valley are livid green. Just a hint of the drystone wall in the bottom right of the picture.

Cloudy day above the Cree valley, no sign of the hills or Cairnsmore. The field nearby is very yellow though I'm reliably informed it'll be fine, everything else is looking verdant.

Early morning sunshine through the clouds above Cairnsmore. Some mist in the Valley you can see the estuary and green fields adjacent. Nearer the camera the grass is very yellow. There is a bit of the wall and my neighbours shed and bush.

A cloudy sky with just a hint of blue seen between a huge oak tree on the left and St James church on the right. An end gable of a terraced house further restricts the view and for the keen of eye some modern factory unit roofs in the gap. The church is in disrepair and has a bell tower with no bell or steeple. The Oak looks healthy though.

More could than we've seen for a while over the Cree valley. Distant hills and green fields. The field closest to the camera is still yellow and sad.

My bike, chrome frame with no suspension, chubby but smooth yellow tyres, beaten up gold coloured saddle, centre pull brakes, yellow vintage toe clips, yellow bottle rack, yellow helmet. The insects lovee.

Cairnsmore beneath a blue sky devoid of cloud. The Cree estuary shines in the sun. The fields nearest me are yellow as the grass shrivels, in the valley nearer the river it's slightly greener. You can see the edge of my neighbours garden, they have grass, and my other neighbours sheds and tree.

Aurora over Newton Stewart in South West Scotland. Purple fades through pink to some green at the bottom just on the horizon highlighting a bit of low cloud.

Looking out over the rockery and Drystone wall at the Galloway hills. Not a cloud in the sky, just a heat haze between me and the hills. Lots of green trees and hedges in the valley from this angle.

Clear blue sky marked by a con trail from a C-17A Globemaster III out from Ramstein this morning on route to god knows where. Below the cut and gathered grass nearest the camera gives a light green to contrast with the dark unfinished fields beyond.
