A 45 foot MCI Motorcoach with the NJ Transit emblem on the side of the vehicle; parked at a rest area on the side of the Garden State Parkway. The photo was taken in late afternoon, the blue sky only tarnished by a few white clouds. The bus, sitting empty and off, sat ready to start its evening shift for commuters: the bus, a mix of white, black, chrome, and its signature emblem of orange, purple, and deep twilight blue. These colors signified the companies continued service throughout all times of day; morning, evening, and night. The green trees barely moved in the warm summer air even with the traffic whisking by, as the convience store in the background with fuel pumps sat ready for any patron that needed service from their highway drive.
