Scarborough is an amazing place and it was great to stay there and wander about, sketching and taking photos.

A Cambridge street scene during May Week, a time in June when the exams are over and the May Balls take place. I never went to one (not really my scene) but I did design a poster for one of them. Still have a few rare copies so I'll find a photo and post it.
A fairly large pastel painting of a wild patch in my garden. The sculpture consists of driftwood on a steel pole and it came from a cheap furnishings shop. It has weathered beautifully! The garden was taking on some autumn colour when this one was done.

This was a queue forming for Gonville and Caius College May Ball a few years ago and flowers were being presented to attenders while waiting outside. This found a buyer who gave it to a friend as a present.
