QUESTING BEAST Huge Abomination Beast Biomes: Forest, Grassland, Highland This creature from Arthurian legend has the body of a leopard, tail of a lion, and a long serpentine neck with a pair of curved horns on its head. Though it is not aggres-sive, it will fight to evade capture. Its insidious power of obsession has driven many brave knights and kings to ru-in. Might 8 Daring 2 Savvy 1 Terror 3; Defense 1, 40 LB Yelps of Obsession: The creature’s voice sounds like a pack of baying hounds. Any hearing this must make a Tough (-4) Flair + Defense roll or gain the Obsession Flaw to capture it. Move: 60’ Run, 40’ Climb, 30’ Leap. Wood Step: it can move through dense brush and foliage completely unim-peded. Tough Hide: 1d3+1 Protection Powerful Nose: +5 to notice checks using smell. Horn Gore: +4 Attack, 1d6+3 Dmg +Hurtle Claws: +3 Attack twice, 2d3 Dmg each. Hurtle: Victim must make a Tough (-4) Might Test or be knocked back 10’ and fall prone. Elusive: Spotting it requires a Hard (-2) Savvy Test. Its paws leave no tracks; tracking it is impossible.

Main Expertise: Infiltration Secondary: Espionage Quote: “Janus will not be upstaged!” Background: A former stuntman as well as makeup and special effects artist whose directorial debut ended abruptly when his risky stunt coordination resulted in tragedy. Blackballed from Hollywood and facing criminal investigation, Janus accepted SCARAB’s offer to help pull off “the perfect job” a number of times. He makes use of disguises, holograms, and deep fake footage to pull off extremely convincing illusions. His background as a stuntman also makes him a surprisingly dangerous combatant. Janus is not only in this for the money (though he loves the money); he is in it for the sake of his art. Trivia: The Janus toy came with a mold and some reusable plastic clay. Pressing an ACTION Agent’s face into the mold would allow kids to make a mask for the Janus figure.

For Fatalia Fiore, modeling was the perfect cover, allowing her to travel the world and get close to her targets. When her cover was blown by an ACTION sting operation, she managed to escape and found sanctuary in the ranks of SCARAB. She misses her jet-setting double life, where she could eliminate targets by day and party with celebs by night. SCARAB helps her get some payback at ACTION for that loss. Trivia: The Fatalia toy’s rifle had a red LED inside that acted as her “laser sight”.

After being thoroughly indoctrinated via Sister Cicada’s conditioning, SCARAB offered Firebug a sense of purpose and the chance to channel his “gifts” to burn down a “corrupt and evil world” that once scorned him for his “art”. Now he is the leader of a SCARAB elite strike team called the “Firemoths” who usually strike from Moth Gliders or jetpacks. Trivia: The Firebug toy included a detachable Moth Glider backpack. The spring-loaded wings could unfurl with the press of a button.

Trivia: The Viceroy toy was sold packaged with the Scarabike, her modified Horsefly Attack Cycle that did not include a sidecar but did feature a working headlight.
