A cottage with a secret room, lots of book cases and the kitchen is used to cook food and for potion making. It’s a pretty fancy cottage as it has a water closet which is a bit uncommon in this world but it’s getting more common with indoor plumbing, at least for the rich people.

Rou As a child, Arounetti enjoyed learning and playing with magic. The adults in their life always told them that they had a gift for the art of Magic. Which made them more inclined to learn even more about the subject. When they were a preteen they started an apprenticeship with a witch in the next village over. Magic had become their whole life. They had their whole life planned out as a village witch. However, when their cousin's parents died in a monster attack, she decided to move to the continent of Snowbound to join the monster hunter’s association. Arounetti followed her, which set them on a new harsher path. Now, they don’t know if they would’ve made the same choices... Zalt Zalt enjoyed music and adventure as a kid. He had a hard time sitting still and always had questions about everything. Some adults found him very taxing. At the age of 12, he had a big argument with his parents and ran away from home. He traveled the world and lived as a street performer. When he was 18, he ended up in the Kingdom of Nordalunda, where he was employed as a messenger for the Royal Postal Service. He still travels the world as a messenger and believes that he is happy with his life.

Lingon The Aristocracy of Lingon is located in the southwest parts of the Snowbound continent. This was the country that first rose up against the Dragons and formed The Union to have the dragons removed from the world. They are now the leading force against the Monsters. They are also boasting the largest population on the continent. Nordalund The Kingdom of Nordalund is the largest nation on the continent of Snowbound, spanning from its central regions to the northernmost peninsula. Despite its large area, Nordalund is not the most populous country on the continent, as the harsh environment renders much of its territory uninhabitable. This is one of few independent countries that are not a part of The Union.

Snowbound Snowbound is the continent to the west of the two other continents in this world. Two monarchies, one republic and one Aristocracy, currently and independently hold parts of this area. The HQ of The Union is located in Lingon, the Aristocracy. Which is also the HQ of the Monster Hunter Guilds. Geography Most of Snowbound is heavily forested with 54% of the land being forests. Only around 18% is farmland. There are around 159 578 lakes, which cover the rest of the area. The northern and western parts of the area are hilly and mountainous, while the southern parts contain the most islands. Notable geographic areas: Spirefang, a mountain range in the northern most parts of Snowbound. It starts on the extruding part of the top of the continent and continues into the main part of northern Snowbound. Climate The top area of this continent has a subarctic climate with 7 months of cold and snowy winters and 5 months of mild to somewhat warm summers.

Stina curtsied and looked back at Hilde. Stina: “Thank you, I have to get back to work now.” Good byes were exchanged and Stina left the room. Hilde and Rou walk together over to towards her quarters again. Hilde: “She’s a nice girl but a bit awkward. She want to become a witch but haven’t found one to apprentice under. She has only gotten refusals.” They reach the door and Hilde starts unlocking it with a key from her apron pocket. Rou: “I don’t take on apprentices.” Hilde: “Yes, I know, you refused my application.” The both of them snorts and enters Hilde’s quarters.
