Too often an idea pops into my head and I fail to capture it. Piles of mixed unfinished thoughts, poems, musings, and revalations litter the floor of my mind. I'm unsure if these are truely lost, or, if like fallen leaves they get broken down by springtail and wild fungi to become fertile duff, a spongy bed for growing old trees and lush green ferns. To let it go uncaptured is to allow it to rot and be used again perhaps; as it is with all things in this world.
