Sonic is (once again) standing on Kronos Island from the hit video game “Sonic Frontiers” released in 2022. He is wistfully reflecting as he stares off into the sunset. The text says “MAN” as he realises how long his week has felt. I know… But we have to keep going, no matter how tough it can be, so we can make the world a warmer place and help people. Always lend a helping hand, it may change someone’s life even if they say they don’t need it; just say you’re always available and that it’s okay to not always be happy. I recently learned that friendship is also about being with others in painful times; to help lessen the burden and share it with them, to smile and make their darkness feel like it’s finally going away. I had a slower week due to rain preventing me from going on walks, so I ended up reflecting and realising how much I value being with my friends in-person and seeing their smiles is more than enough to brighten up my week.
