Yucca brevifolia (AKA Joshua tree) shooting up out of the ground against a partly cloudy bright blue sky and a big pile of rocks. It’s got a gnarly fibrous trunk and four branches that fork off at the top, and capped with a puff of spiky green leaves that look more like long needles. The creamy white flower is visible on top of the leaves on some of the branches. It’s also not actually a tree, but technically a succulent.
