They're free to download and run locally on your PC It's inconvenient to add this extra step, and it's not unbreakable, but to me, something is better than nothing

Those tools are obsolete, check when their last update was. They are abandoned.
Hey. Just because a locksmith can open the lock that you put on the door doesn't make the lock worthless. After all, locksmiths are an extra cost, and not an insignificant one. Same goes for Glazes. Can they be defeated? Sure. But is it *worth* the extra costs?
