Email titled Arsenal Values: Hi safeguarding team, I’ve been a fan of The Arsenal for many years. I come to the emirates, I shop at the armoury, I’ve travelled to see our men’s and women’s teams. When I’m on holiday I strike up conversations with other Arsenal fans in pubs when we’re watching the game - because I am proud to be an Arsenal supporter and I feel a part of the Arsenal community. But today, and for the last 3 years, there has been shame along with pride. Our club aspires to be about more than football, to be a safe environment for all. But it hasn’t been. Thomas Partey continued to play for our club, to be used in promotional material, even to be in discussions for a new contract. Three women have not been safeguarded, the club has let them down, let all our supporters down.
