Our husky/mal mix is always shedding, especially this time of year, as they do. I know sea otters have a lot of fur, so I checked: Malamute: ≈30K hairs / sq in Husky: ≈80K hairs / sq in Sea otters: 500K - 1M hairs / sq in !!! Imagine the fur tufts you’d have with a sea otters or two at home!
