English class had a lesson on AI, where we were asked a series of questions and told to stand at one side or the other of the room based on our stance on it. Far left: Fully ethical Middle: Sort of ethical Far right: Fully unethical These were 2 parallel questions that were asked: Is it ethical for a student to write an entire draft of an essay and show it to a family member, who then suggests changes that completely warp the argument, and the student then makes all of those changes and submits it? Is it ethical for a student to write an entire draft of an essay and feed it to AI, prompting it to make it A+ worthy, and then copying the entire response and submitting it? I was the only person out of my entire class of 16-17 year olds to stand on the far right of the room for both questions. Everyone else stood on the left for the non-AI involved question, everyone then went to the far right for the AI involved question. We are so cooked They also wanted me to generate an AI image with this prompt that I refused to do: "Generate an image of a superhero that [insert hobby/interest here] and is [insert adjective here]" Like, we are in ELEVENTH GRADE, IN ONE OF THE MOST HIGHLY EDUCATED STATES IN THE US. CAN WE GET IT TOGETHER? Anyway I'll probably brag about that forever cause it made all of the twentysomething other students in the room seem like apes since the AI question came after.
I really hope they have a way to revert all these model changes, because I'm not a fan of any of them. The horses, however, look especially bad, mostly due to the neck and head. This might make me seem like the biggest hater in the world but I think Mojang needs these thoughts on display so they can compensate in some way. The other mobs I could deal with, however in no way can I see the appeal to these. They don't fit in with the game in my eyes. If they don't have a way to cosmetically reverse the changes it'd be an understatement to say I'd be disappointed. Otherwise I'm sure the fantastic modders for this game will provide one of their own.

im going to hawaii in a few weeks because my cousin graduated this year, who also is the first in her family to do so (that being out of her mom, dad, siblings, mom's side of the family but not dad's) i also just dont think its normal for me to casually bring a $1000 laptop on a plane half way across the globe just for something i could do at home but dont because im lazy. youll definitely see pictures and whatnot from my trip here on bsky and if youre in the astraea discord youll see them there too. i do plan on continuing my astraea series but not sure when ill pick it back up. i do plan on streaming when i get better internet but also not sure when that will be. regardless follow my socials all in my bio to catch both videos and livestreams when they happen. i swear down that a video will be out before the summer is over i just cant imagine that ill have the energy nor motivation to edit at all while i have my classes going on
The end table I spent 3 months on in my Woods class at school. The red censored part is there because that water bottle has my legal last name on it and thats a little too personal for bsky. The top came off when I was carrying it out of school but its like 3 screws and some wood glue to fix it. I have that cardboard under the leg to balance the table cause that one leg is a tiny bit shorter than the other 3 but I'll fix it at some point I think maybe probably not ok thanks for reading bye
A ruler with a strange bend at about 6". It seems that someone deliberately bent this in some way, but not by hand.
I built this Forgery a couple of days ago and I am completely in love with it. I like the way it looks, but also, it's functional. There's an Iron Farm about 30 blocks below. There's a 100% working auto crafter (I tested in creative, this thing only folds under pressure of 9 double chests full of iron ingots flowing into it at a single time, and I tested it at 10,000 tps) going into an ice path which ends in a bubble column which pushes the items into 1 of 2 barrels inside the building, so I never have to go into the farm itself. I need more of this, I can't get enough.
Basically I accidentally knocked my laptop off of my desk and it conveniently landed on its right side, the side which my extender was on. I just ordered a new one and it should be here tomorrow morning.
