This discrepancy based on dosage is unfortunately quite common. I work in Medicare; today I saw a client’s quote for coverage of one of his medications go from $600/yr to $133k/yr because I accidentally doubled his dose in the system. Prescription drug formularies are weird

What’s wild is sometimes lower doses are more expensive. It’s not based on reason it’s based on profit
