The loop is formed by a flow of neurotransmitters from the basic level of the human neural network to the conscious level where they are interpreted as the self and this message is transmitted to the low level again where the loop is closed causing a repetition of the same message that seem to say "this is me", causing the stubborn illusion we can't resist.
