Hey folks, we have a quick update for you all.

Bluntly, we’re burnt out. With us valuing ourselves (Really? We do?) and our friendships, we are making the choice to miss our first LUTI season since our founding in 2021.

This LUTI season has come at a horrendous time for us. Keeping things simple, we have attempted to dial up the TZS cycle for the upcoming season and realized if we attempt to compete this season, it would harm both our players' individual mental spaces and our players' relationship with each other.

We toyed with the idea of taking this season less seriously, but this would be wrong to both ourselves and to the players we would play against. We also worry that in the long term this could cause a rift between those that have the drive now and those fighting through the burn out.

We aren’t calling it quits. Just dialing back a bit and staying chill. You may find us practicing or even in a tournament very soon. We will also be continuing to do things casually together like we were doing, such as The TZS Podcast, Minecraft, Monopoly, etc. Those will not be going away anytime soon. It might even pick up more since we are taking this direction and spending less time hard focused on Splatoon. We’ve toyed with plenty of ideas and never took action on them because of trying to practice as much as possible.

We are taking TZS back to what it's all about, our friendships with each other and those around us (even Neato).

With that, some of our players have the availability and the drive to compete in LUTI this season. Please pick them up! We wish them well and will be giving them love via our socials!
