Senator Liston Votes Against Republican State Budget. Quote: “What else could we have done with $600 million? So many things. It would have only taken a small fraction of that money, roughly $40 million, to make sure infants and toddlers 0 to 3 kept Medicaid coverage. An estimated 20,000 babies a year would not be dropped from their health insurance for 7% of the money we’re giving for an upgraded sports stadium owned by billionaires.”
