Tired AF with Madeleine at 8:30 am. I also went to trivia last night where my team was in first place most of the night until the last two rounds. We lost to a table of librarians. I don’t know for sure but there were a lot of sweaters and scarves and as a group they were exceptionally pale. That and the bookmarks falling out of their pockets and their hands clenched as though they were holding large wooden stamps

Egg. My friend wrote the date collected (1/7) and name of chicken (Sweet Baby) in pencil. The contrast between ordinary, daily gestures of loving attention (even for animals!) vs the callous lack of care for humanity by this administration is breaking apart my nervous system.
