Esc to dismiss ✅ Click or cmd+k for a menu of options, with keyboard shortcuts for every button ✅ Use esc to go back to editing Fixing markdown editing one function at a time!

I think you should avoid that the text jumps and require that the cursor is hovered for a brief moment before triggering these.
